Compact microbridge for maximal ergonomics
The new binoculars of the “Lux-HR” series are unusually small because of the “microbridge”. These binoculars are smaller than some smartphones. The Lux-HR binoculars fit comfortably into almost every jacket pocket. The Lux-HR also clearly undercuts the usual values concerning the weight on the 42mm market. Because of the ultra light but also sturdy design - the body is made of resistant magnesium, the focusing wheel of high quality aluminium - the binoculars are very lightweight.
Indestructible and secure in your hand
A special rubber armoring (Soft Touch Layer) with a special roughened surface guarantees optimal grip and slip resistance - even in humidity. An ergonomically designed depression on the bridge allows for a comfortable finger grip. Thanks to the slender and compact design the binoculars are perfectly handy and allow for effortless observation. The adjustable eye cups are made of a highly robust metal alloy. The rubber coating of the eye cups additionally protects the oculars against damage during the tough use on the terrain. The binoculars are completely watertight and protected against condensation inside the casing.
A special highlight: field-flattener-oculars
Field-flattener-lenses were used for these binoculars - an absolute novelty for binoculars in this price category. Field-flattener-lenses are special lense elements inside the binoculars which balance the image curvature and thus produce an almost completely even image. That way, lines and angles which are naturally curved by the lense curvature get pictured straightly. Advantage: Finest structures and smallest details have an acute resolution up until the fringes. Additionally, the field-flattener-lenses are DDlucid coated, an evolution of the ELR coating (extra low reflection). DDlucid by DDoptics is currently one of the most effective binoculars coatings. The Schmidt Pechan roof prism is phase coated. In combination with the dielectrical mirror the phase correction coating ensures very high colour saturation and contrasts as well as maximum brightness. The E apochromate reduces colour fringes in backlight and guarantees clean contours.
