William optics AP 132/925 telescope:
With 132mm of aperture, this refractor lets you start deep sky observing. A fluorite glass lens element means impressive chromatic aberration correction, making it also a joy to do astrophotography with. Compare: An excellent instrument with an only a slightly smaller aperture, but which is much cheaper is the Omegon AP 126/880 ED triplet carbon-fibre apochromat refractor OTA. You benefit from an extremely well-engineered telescope and mechanical workmanship of very high quality. You can learn more here.
The William Optics FLT series represents a real alternative to the commonly used apochromats from Pentax, Takahashi, Starfire, TMB, etc. Although these instruments are manufactured in the Far East the workmanship is of the highest quality, as is the choice of materials.
The FLT series excels above all in astrophotography, and together with excellent correction, image quality, colour reproduction and field flatness it is held in high regard in all respects.
