Timer and blinking circuit for TELRAD Finder
This circuit fits into the TELRAD finder and has two functions:
1. The LED will switch off automatically after about 3 minutes. This means that the battery will not discharge if you forget to switch off the finder. By pressing the yellow button the LED is switched on again.
2. You can let the LED shine continuously or blinking. You can adjust the blinking on-time and off-time independently with the two red turnknobs. The advantage of a blinking LED is that you can see fainter stars if the LED is off.
On-time: between 0.1 and 2 seconds, off-time: between 0 and 2 seconds.
Installation is easy: Drill 5 holes into the side wall of the TELRAD finder using the enclosed drilling template (1x button, 2x turnknobs, 2x screws). Then you cut the cable from the battery to the LED and solder the 4 ends to the circuit. Detailed instructions are included. The brightness regulator will work as before.
