The optics Celestron N 130/650:
A classic Newton beginner telescope made by Celestron. With this optic you can already take impressive walks in the night sky, the telescope collects with its opening of 130mm 30% more light than comparable units with 114mm opening. Observe the surface of the moon to discover an astonishing wealth of detail, the cloud bands of Jupiter, or first structures in the famous Messier objects like the Orion Nebula. The attachment of the tube to the mount is via a pipe clamp.

The mount Celestron NexStar GT:
This is a one-armed GoTo Mount: Apply voltage, then enter only the date, time, and your position and point the telescope to the north. Everything else makes the electronics with the help of the Auto-Align feature. The mount in turn drives two reference stars, the control software itself selects and invites each to confirm that they are in the field of the telescope. You do not even have to know which star is which, the display of the NexStar hand controller shows you. Even easier is it if the procedure was passed again: Your last entries are stored in the memory of the handheld device and are automatically loaded the next time. You can then almost all the values simply press Enter, only time and date must be entered again.
Once the desired object in the image field is visible, it is reliably tracked by the NexStar control system, ie the Earth's rotation is compensated for automatically, until you select a new object from the store and position. With the help of the manual recording equipment you have access to any record, 4033 celestial objects, which adjusts the mount with a speed of up to 4 ° per second.
Using the included PC software "NexStar Observer List" you will have access to over 40,000 observation objects. Please note: This version of the hand controller is available in English and it is not possible to upgrade to a German version.
